Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-06

Draft. This page is under legal review and may change before Dev Bench takes self-serve customers. Questions: peter@redpointrack.com.

These terms are an agreement between you (or the company you sign up for) and RedpointRack LLC (“we”) for the Dev Bench service at developerbench.com. By signing in, subscribing or installing a Dev Bench SDK you agree to them. If you have a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.

The service

Dev Bench detects errors, failed requests and slowness in your application, triages them with an AI model and your server logs, and writes issues into the GitHub repository you choose. Features differ by edition, as described on our editions page.

Your account

  • You sign in with GitHub. Keep that account secure; activity under it is treated as yours.
  • Whoever creates a tenant is its owner and may add members. The owner is responsible for who has access and for the GitHub App installation they approve.
  • Your DSN (the key your application sends with) is a secret. Rotate it if it leaks.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, by card or US bank account (ACH). Prices are shown before you subscribe. A payment method is required to start.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel from Manage billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Monthly plans are not refunded for part of a month: cancel at any time and the service runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
  • Annual plans may be cancelled for convenience on 90 days' written notice to peter@redpointrack.com. The service continues through the notice period, and we refund the prepaid fees for the whole months remaining after it ends, pro rata. No other refunds are given, except where the law requires.
  • If a payment fails we retry it. If it still fails, triage and new issues pause until payment succeeds; your sensors keep collecting in the meantime, so no data is lost.
  • Prices exclude taxes, which are added where required. We give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.

Your data

Data your application sends us, and the issues written for you, are yours. You give us the rights we need to provide the service: to store, process and analyse that data, to send it to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy, and to write issues to your repository. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics about how the service performs to improve it. You are responsible for having the right to send the data you send and for not sending data the Privacy Policy asks you not to.

Acceptable use

Don't use Dev Bench to break the law, to send data you have no right to send, to probe or overload the service, to get around usage limits or billing, or to access another customer's data. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

AI output

Triage is done by an AI model. Its diagnoses and suggested causes can be wrong or incomplete. Review an issue before acting on it; you remain responsible for changes you make to your systems.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Dev Bench available and your data safe, but unless a signed agreement says otherwise the service is provided without a service-level commitment. We may change or improve features; we will not materially reduce a paid feature during a period you have paid for.

Warranties and liability

Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to a breach of the acceptable-use terms or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Dev Bench and cancel as described above. We can end the agreement on 30 days' notice (refunding any prepaid fees for the time after it ends), or immediately for a serious breach. When it ends, we delete your data within 30 days, as the Privacy Policy describes.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. If we change these terms we will update the date above and, for paid customers, give 30 days' notice by email of a material change.
